GUSTAV SPITZER, SOLINGEN
A GERMAN WORLD WAR TWO LUFTWAFFE TYPE TWO DRESS DAGGER,
circa 1941, with polished plain stiletto blade signed by the maker, tombak cross-guard formed as an eagle with stylised spread wings and clutching a swastika device in its talons, white celluloid over wood grip with spiral wire binding, bulbous pommel moulded with oakleaves and a central swastika, complete with its pebbled alloy scabbard, bullion portapee knot and velvet backed braided hangers with moulded en-suite fittings
